Paw Priority is a small, modern veterinary clinic on Melrose. We’re built around relationships and time with patients — not appointment quotas. If that’s the medicine you want to practice, we should talk.
We’re independent. Decisions are made by a vet who still sees patients, not by a corporate group hundreds of miles away. That shapes how we hire, schedule, treat, and grow.
We build schedules around the case, not the block. Longer appointments, room for follow-ups, and no pressure to upsell.
Continuity works both ways. You get to know pets and their families over years — the reason most of us went into this in the first place.
Digital everything: digital radiography, in-house lab, cloud PMS, online refills through our own pharmacy. We invest in things that make the day easier, not shinier.
Set hours (Mon–Thu 9–6, Fri 9–5, Sat 10–2, Sundays off). No overnight ER shifts. No corporate quotas driving your day. Predictable weeks so your life outside work stays your own.
Small-animal general and urgent care. Interest in acupuncture or dentistry a plus, not required. Modern facility, mentorship from Dr. Ameis.
Experience preferred but the right attitude matters more. Cross-training across appointments, dentistry, and surgery.
Front desk, phones, scheduling. You’re often a client’s first impression of us — we hire for warmth first.
Not seeing your role? Send us your resume anyway. We’re always meeting good people.
